Main Characters

Mimì, Nanan and Philippe are the main characters of this comic strip.

They are winged sufi frogs striving on the HUmorous path. They belong to the Amphibiya Sufi Order and set up this Magic Sufi Theatre under the guidance of their Shaykh, Professor Drago a.k.a. Shaykh Al-Kawthar.

The Shaykh mysteriously disappeared one dark, moonless night.

Mimì, Nanan and Philippe live on the land but are not of it: their true habitat is a pond in Sufiland, where their hearts keep returning.

When they speak, they speak Froggish.

To put these plays in context, think of something between Aristophanes and Hermann Hesse, with a strong touch of Sufi Islam.
